1. Reservation & deposit
- A 10% deposit, paid by bank transfer using the QR code or details on your invoice, secures your dives, equipment and apartment dates.
- The deposit is non-refundable. It covers scheduling, equipment allocation, administration and holding your place.
- Need different dates? Tell us at least 14 days before arrival and we will move your booking, subject to availability.
2. Remaining balance
The remaining 90% is paid on arrival at the dive centre in Marsa Alam, in cash (EUR, USD, GBP, EGP) or by card.
3. Weather & safety
Safety comes first. Dive sites and boat trips (including Elphinstone and Dolphin House) depend on sea conditions and Coast Guard permission. If a boat trip is cancelled, we offer alternative dives or a new date; boat supplements for trips that cannot be replaced are not charged.
4. Diver requirements
- Certified divers bring proof of certification (PADI, SSI, CMAS or equivalent) and a logbook.
- Every diver completes a medical statement. Pre-existing conditions require a signed medical clearance from a doctor.
- Non-certified guests can join a Discover Scuba Diving or beginner course.
5. Divers' apartment
The special apartment rate is available only to guests diving with Dive In Marsa as part of a package. Check-in from 14:00, check-out by 11:00 — flexible times on request.
