Best dive sites in Marsa Alam area

Elphistone reef

Is considered to be one of the best dive sites in Egypt for advanced divers. It has a water depth to 45 meters and offers an amazing underwater world for divers. The reef is best known for wide diversity of shars.

Sha’ab Samadai

is the perfect spot for divers of all levels since it offers a variety of dive sites with depths that range from 5 to 60 meters. The most popular site is called “the Cathedral, it features two large rocks that rise up from the seafloor and form an archway where divers can enter and exit the water.

Marsa Aslaia

you can find many different types of marine life here, including sharks and dolphins. It is also the perfect place to see turtles coming up to the surface to breathe. You will have an unforgettable experience diving at this spot!

Hamada shipwreck

Hamada was a cargo ship that sank off the coast of Marsa Alam. The wreck, that sank in 1993 is still intact and is an excellent dive site for beginners, with depths average 10m.

Marsa Murein

is a small, but very beautiful and popular dive site, situated at a depth of 14-25 meters, and has an average visibility of 20 meters.

Abo Dabab

dive spot was created by the water that was coming from the nearby sea. The water creates an impressive tunnel to explore that is 25 meters deep and 500 meters long.

Abu Sail

is special place to dive! Enterig water from small opening and jumping in to the small coral cave. Mix of soft and hard corals, with depth from 15 to 60m.

Marsa Egla

is divided into two parts: the shallow and deep water.The shallow part of the dive starts at 3 meters and goes down to 10 meters. The deep part of dive starts at 10 meters and goes down to 25 meters
